Have you ever found yourself staring out of a window lost in thought, wondering what the rest of the world was like? Have you even woken up one morning to get ready for your boring and mundane job and stopped to ask yourself “what am I doing here?” I have.

These thoughts only happen every so often that they started coming more and more frequently, until I knew I had to do something about it.

I kept wondering how I could see more of the world and get out of a job that I hated. The answer to that turned out to be simple. I was going to start looking for jobs abroad. Since I wanted to go somewhere tropical, I was going to look specifically for jobs in the Caribbean.

I hopped online to start my research. I knew there was going to be a lot I needed to figure out and get to work on. Which island in the Caribbean did I want to work on, what kind of job did I want to do, where was I going to live, what I needed to do to get my Visa and so much more.

It didn’t take long to me to find out that the questions weren’t as easy to answer as I had originally thought that they might be. I went to hundreds of websites, hoping to find the information I needed usually. I had quite a few sites open any given time. I was writing down lots of questions, but not getting any answers.

I would toggle from one job-listing site to another, then over to a site where I could try to find out about living on the islands, then over to another site where I was getting information about getting a Visa.

It was far more difficult than I thought, I spent far more time, jumping between different websites, and I did actually learning anything than getting any answers. I was getting very frustrated until I found JobInTheSun.com! JobInTheSun.com has thousands of job vacancies abroad, and in the Caribbean.
