If you invest just 15 minutes each week you can reduce your stress and get more value from your time. This 15 minute time management technique will help you to increase the effectiveness of your time management skills. When you end your week without closure there are two negative things that happen.
First, there are some things that get lost in the shuffle because you didn’t write down the next actions you need to take. And second, you start the next week spending much more than 15 minutes trying to figure out what you should be doing and where you left off the week before.
Take time to review your week and plan the upcome week before you end your week. Do you take on more than you can handle? If, so you join a group made up of the majority.
Most of the time you innocently get in this situation because you don’t remember all the commitments you’ve already made. Finish up your week by taking 15 minutes to record all the actions you need to finish up on from this week. Record all the actions you need to take next week.
Finally, prioritize the three most important things you’ll do on Monday and check your calendar to determine how you will fit those things in between the commitments you’ve already schedule. Don’t schedule them as appointments just be aware that you will do them, and have an idea for time frames when you will work on them.
Throughout the week you’ve accumulated sticky notes, receipts, bills, business cards etc. in your pockets and briefcase and on your desk. Gather all these things in one basket and schedule a time when you will pay your bills, turn in your receipts, and properly file the rest.

This data is used in order to help the companies know which market a particular product appeals to before it is launched. This survey data is also used to improve or redo existing products.

It’s also possible that you are able to find and contact these companies as well. But, these companies are unlikely to respond back to you on an individual basis.

I’ve got a big problem with people that say they will live life the way they want to when they retire. The story you’re about to read helps me make this very important point. A point that may change the way you look at your every day activities forever. And make you seriously consider ways to start an Internet business.
I had not met the massage tech before that was working on me this day. She noticed how tense my muscles were and asked me if I worked in an office. The way I was all knotted-up was typical for someone who spends a lot of time at a computer. We started talking about what I do in my Internet business, how much I work and how I still make time for fun stuff and family time. She couldn’t understand how I could run a business and find time for personal activities.
Her response was not unusual at all. In fact, whenever I explain my schedule I’m always greeted with envy first, followed quickly by confusion, then wonder at how I’m able to live my life so well. Being polite, I asked GP about her schedule. Her answer absolutely horrified me…
GP had been working seven days a week for the past 6 months with no days off and no vacations. At first I thought I had misheard her, but I hadn’t. Six massages a day, day in and day out, for over 180 days straight. She’s making six figures - but she’s living her life based on a faulty assumption I see Internet business entrepreneurs making far too often.
See, I’ve tried retirement already… twice actually. But I have an Internet business that I work in regularly. I have a great team behind me, and I really don’t have to work. But I do work, and some people really wonder why. Well, it’s because I don’t agree with how people view the whole idea of retirement.
The traditional way of working like crazy until you’re 65 just isn’t realistic. In fact, it really does not work, unless you’re happy sitting in a chair watching TV for 20 years. If you take the time to look at what happens to people that are considered to be in their prime, that prevents them from making it to a typical retirement age, you’ll get a big wake up call.
The facts are: just because you get to retirement age, doesn’t mean you’re not going to have to work to survive. Just look at all of the problems with the social security system here in the US, and company pension funds worldwide. I’m not the only person with this opinion, either. Do some research and you’ll find noteable experts saying the same thing.
Many financial and retirement experts agree with this new reality, that most people you know will have to continue working when they reach the traditional age of retirement. You may not like how this sounds, but I encourage you to take it to heart. And consider this viewpoint that the entire idea of retirement is flawed.
Just keeping the idea in your mind that life will somehow be better years from now when you’re retired works against you. It will hold you back from greater achievments. You really need to prepare yourself for reality as it is now, not 50 years ago. Keep in mind what your life would be like if you could not retire. And how would the type of mindset and work you do today serve you when you’re a senior citizen. Could you handle doing the same thing, every day until the end? So don’t put off enjoying life until later on. You never know what could happen tomorrow or next month or next year. And the worst thing is having regrets later on. If you start an Internet business now, you could see yourself in a comfortable position later, but more importantly you would have the time now to do the things you love.

Your sales are down, your self-confidence is gone, you feel like you’re beating your head against a brick wall maybe you should just quit. Maybe you should and maybe you’re on the verge of a major breakthrough, but if you quit now you’ll never know. How will you feel when you find out that the next call, the next appointment, the next referral, or the next chunk of repeat business would have been life changing for you? What exactly are you quitting? Are you quitting a company because it doesn’t match your values? Are you quitting a boss because they lack integrity? Are you quitting a product or service because it just doesn’t meet expectations? If you’re quitting these things you should and you should feel good about it and hold your head high as you move on to the next thing that does support your values, standards, and integrity.
Could you be quitting yourself? You may be convinced at this point that you just don’t have what it takes to make it in sales. It’s very possible you do have what it takes and if you’d just persist a little longer you could get the success you want so badly. You need to evaluate if you have what it takes based on the facts not on surrounding information.
There are two easy ways to know. If you’ve succeeded in sales before you know you have what it takes. You just need to accept that you need to make some changes and adaptations so you can succeed again. If you don’t have a history of success you should take a couple of assessments and know whether sales is a match for you or not.
Do you have a sales plan? Have you followed through with your plan? How could you increase your sales each week?
If you won’t take the actions you need to take to hit your daily sales goals you can’t expect to get great results.
If you have people to contact, you make a connection, you secure the appointment, you hold the appointment; and you aren’t getting enough sales begin to dissect each element to discover where you have opportunities to make improvements. If you don’t have a daily sales plan, get one. You can’t expect success without a plan and without the commitment to follow through on your plan.
So what do you want to quit? You want to quit doing the same thing and expecting different results. Test and measure each part of the whole process until you develop your own personal system for sales success that’s completely customized to fit you and your strengths. When you get your system as close to perfection as you can possibly get it practice and practice and practice it every day so you don’t screw it up and get in this place again.
